Road Race, SCCA, World Challenge, Cobalt SS Professional Driver
After returning from an exciting weekend at the Acura Sports Car Challenge of St. Petersburg, BiggaBoss is back in the shop reviewing the race videos and computer readouts of his car’s performance. On Friday, the No. 00 Chevy Cobalt SS experienced unforeseen technical difficulties and did not receive a satisfactory qualifying position. The Malspeed crew worked diligently to resolve the situation and, after an exciting World Challenge Sports Car War march to the grid, BiggaBoss debuted his Cobalt in Saturday’s race.
The yellow and blue No. 00 Chevy Cobalt SS was the only American make car in the World Challenge TC class. BiggaBoss was revved up for Saturday’s race following an exciting autograph session where he was able to meet and talk with so many race fans. Although he finished 9th in the race, BiggaBoss cheered on Todd Buras of the Irish Mike team who took the checker. The Acura Sports Car Challenge of St. Petersburg will air on Versus HD on Saturday, April 18 at 2 p.m. EDT.

BiggaBoss will be back for rounds 4 & 5 of the World Challenge series at Mosport International Raceway on May 21-23, 2010. Scheduling conflicts prevented him from entering round 3 in Long Beach, California later this month.
The No. 00 Supercharged Chevy Cobalt is being prepared by the Malspeed Racing team and will be entering the race at Mosport in Ontario, Canada with a renewed level of competitiveness. “Our debut in St. Petersburg did not pan out as I had expected, but we’ve discovered what changes need to be made, and I’m confident that our performance at Mosport will surpass all of our expectations,” said BiggaBoss. With sponsors Champion Controls, AEC Contracting, and Malspeed Racing Services, BiggaBoss looks forward to standing on the podium at Mosport in May.
